Welcome aboard, Joe!
Joe Friedt is intensely focused on making clients feel secure, stress-free, and safe. Those are just three reasons he’s the perfect new addition to our team here at Dream Harbour.
Joe is a seasoned advisor with 28 years’ experience, equipped for excellence by his Bachelor of Economics from UBC, and his CFP and CLU certifications (Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter, respectively).
When he was just seven years old, he told his mother he was going to help people save money. His drive to help others has never left him, which fits hand-in-glove with our mission here at Dream Harbour: We meet you where you are in life, and take you where you want to go.
As Joe puts it, “What I love about Dream Harbour’s mission statement is that it plans with the client, not the product, first in mind. That’s what I do. I work with my clients to uncover what’s important, and I use that to give them clarity on their financial future. I make sure they’re looking forward to their future, not with apprehension, but with great anticipation.”
Joe’s experience is that the number one thing people want to know is whether they’re going to be okay. So he doesn’t shy away when clients throw him tough questions, like “Am I going to leave a mess behind if something happens to me?” Instead, he tackles these worries head-on and with compassion.

Joe will be working as Dream Harbour’s Senior Insurance and Estate Advisor. He provides Lifestyle Financial Planning for his clients, who are predominantly successful business owners and professionals. During their lifetimes, he helps: provide more to their families and loved ones instead of more going toward taxes; ensures their estate is created and settled in the most effective manner, and creates lasting legacies that can help others long after they have passed.
